Own infrastructure end to end — take responsibility for the platform that today has no clear owner.
Pay down infra debt — address the root causes of recurring incidents and performance degradation.
Build observability — monitoring, alerting and incident response so problems are caught before customers feel them.
Improve CI/CD & developer experience — make it fast and safe for a small team to ship across 12+ repos.
Harden for scale — prepare the platform for the growth coming after Series A.

About the Role

Own the infrastructure nobody owns yet

Paul's Job is an AI-native recruiting platform replacing fragmented legacy software with one unified system that automates candidate communication, screening and interview scheduling. We have real traction — customers in rollout and a clear Series A path — and a lean six-person engineering team shipping fast across Go, Python and TypeScript.

This is our most acute gap. Today no one owns infrastructure, and the resulting infra debt is causing incidents and performance degradation. We're hiring a Senior SRE / Platform Engineer to take ownership of reliability, scalability and developer experience as we scale — and to stop fighting fires reactively.
