What You'll Do

Three hats, one shared mission

  • Own our internal hiring — run end-to-end recruiting for our own open roles across engineering, GTM and beyond, helping us scale toward Series A.
  • Help customers hire — support our customers in filling their roles, acting as a hands-on recruiting partner and showing the platform's value in practice.
  • Make Paul smarter — feed your recruiting expertise back into the product, helping shape and improve how Paul screens, matches and communicates with candidates.
  • Build our employer brand — craft job ads, candidate experiences and outreach that reflect our mission and attract great people.
  • Bridge people and product — be the voice of real-world recruiting inside the company, translating what works on the ground into what we build.

Who You Are

A recruiter who loves the craft

  • 3–5 years in recruiting — in-house, agency, or both; you've owned roles end to end and know what good hiring looks like.
  • Full-cycle expertise — sourcing, screening, candidate experience and closing across different role types.
  • Curious about product & AI — excited to shape an AI product with your domain knowledge, not just use one.
  • Customer-friendly — comfortable working directly with customers and representing Paul's Job well.
  • Entrepreneurial & adaptable — open-minded, self-directed, and happy wearing several hats in a fast-moving startup.
  • Excellent German required — fluent or native-level German is essential for this role, alongside strong English; you'll recruit and work across both.

You've owned roles end to end — from sourcing to closing — and want to use that expertise to shape a recruiting AI platform. You're customer-friendly, entrepreneurial, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving startup. Fluent or native-level German alongside strong English is essential.
